Sikuani Healing Tradition

In 2022, I was initiated into the lineage of the Sikuani healing tradition by my teacher, Abuelo Clemente — a Sikuani shaman and traditional medic. This ancient healing path channels energy from the celestial realms through sacred chants, breath, and water to restore balance in the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual bodies.

The master plants central to this tradition are tabaco, the root of the ayahuasca plant (distinct from the vine used in ayahuasca brew traditions), and yopo. In my role as a traditional medic, I enter into a state of heightened consciousness, connecting deeply with the plants and the intention to address the root cause of illness.

This is a non-ingestive tradition — patients do not need to consume master plants to receive healing. While in-person work is most powerful, treatments can also be offered remotely. Healing is transmitted through three core elements: the breath, the chants, and water. Water is charged with prayers and given to the patient to drink after the session, continuing the healing process.

Through this tradition, it is possible to address a wide range of conditions — from emotional and mental imbalances such as depression, anxiety, panic attacks, and insomnia, to physical ailments including menstrual cramps, endometriosis, infertility, skin infections, herpes, and gangrene. It can also support individuals with ADHD and other nervous system-related conditions. Beyond healing, this work can be used to help manifest specific intentions — including abundance, clarity, and alignment with one’s path.

For those called to deepen their connection with their essence and receive the clarity offered by the plants, I also offer individual and group sessions for a respectful, guided encounter with the sacred medicine of yopo.
